Hi! It's Martine & Lucius

Hi!

We are Lucius and Martine Johnson.  We are from New Orleans, Lousiana.  Our family evacuated to North Carolina before hurricane Katrina.  Following the breach in the levees, we decided to make Charlotte our home.

In New Orleans, we owned “Bite Your Tongue” Take Out and Catering.  We opened our business in 2002.  Now we’re able to offer North Carolina a taste of “Nawlins” cuisine.

We offer various “specials” of the day.  Stop in, call or check out our “Bite Your Tongue” website   Charlotte Cajun Restaurant.

We are open for breakfast and lunch. On your way home, stop by and pick up  our specialty “Gourmet to Go” take home dinner/suppers.
